Korostenska urban territorial community
The Korosten urban territorial community is a territorial community in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region with the administrative center in the city of Korosten. The Uzh River flows through the territory of the community.
The area of the community is 816.6 km², the population is 73,365 people, of which: urban — 62,833 people, rural — 10,532 people.
Formed in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 711-r dated June 12, 2020 “On the determination of administrative centers and approval of the territories of territorial communities of Zhytomyr region” by merging Korostenska city and Berestovka, Bekhivska, Vaskovyka, Didkovyka, Kalenska, Kozhuhivska, Malozubivshchyna, Medinivska, Mezhirytska, Mykhailivska, Novakivska, Obykhodivska, Sarnovytska, Syngaivska, Stremyhorodska, Khodakivska, Kholosnenska, Khotynivska village councils of the liquidated Korosten district of Zhytomyr region.
