Slovechanska community of Korosten district
Slovechanska rural territorial community is a territorial community in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region.
The area of the community territory is 1,337.7 km², the population is 11,402 people (2020)

It was formed on July 7, 2017 by unification of Horodetsk, Listvynsk, Luchankiv, Mozhariv, Slovechan, Usiv and Cherevkiv village councils of Ovrutsky district of Zhytomyr region.
On January 18, 2018, the Bigun village council of the Ovrutsky district voluntarily joined.
In accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 711-r dated June 12, 2020 “On the determination of administrative centers and approval of the territories of territorial communities of Zhytomyr region”, the territory and settlements of the Novovelidnytsk village council of Ovrutskyi district were included in the composition of the community.
According to the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dated June 17, 2020 “On the formation and liquidation of districts”, the community became part of the newly created Korosten district of Zhytomyr region.
