Luhyny community of Korosten district
Lugynska settlement territorial community is a territorial community in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region.
The administrative center is the town of Luhyny.
As of 2020, the territory of the community is 990.8 km², the population is 15,691 people, of which: urban – 4,546 people, rural population – 11,145 people.

The Luhyn community was formed on August 9, 2016 by merging the Luhyn settlement council and the Budo-Litkiv, Kalyniv, Krasnostav, and Ostapiv village councils of the Luhyn district of the Zhytomyr region.
On June 9, 2017, as a result of voluntary joining, Myrolyubiv settlement council and Velikodyvlynsk, Zherevetsk, Kremnensk, Topilnyansk village councils joined the community.
In October 2017, Putylovitska, Starosilska, Stepanivska and Chervonovolotsk village councils joined the community through voluntary joining.
In accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 711-r dated June 12, 2020 “On the determination of administrative centers and approval of the territories of territorial communities of Zhytomyr region”, the territory and settlements of Bovsunivska, Lypnykvska, Litkivska and Povchanska village councils of Luhyn district of Zhytomyr region were included in the composition of the community region
According to the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 807-IX of July 17, 2020 “On the formation and liquidation of districts”, the community became part of the newly created Korosten district of Zhytomyr region.
As of 2017, the community supported 8 paramedics and midwives, a polyclinic, a hospital, an ambulance station, 6 schools, 5 kindergartens, an after-school education institution, a cultural institution, and 11 cultural institutions.
